This winding road I’ve walked has been oft-times as rocky and slick as a highland path in a rainstorm. It hasn’t been a pretty journey, and there were many a night I nearly laid my burden down for good–or is it evil? For a long while, I carried nothing but ashes in my belly until years later they turned into a raging inferno–a thirst for a reckoning against those who sought to dim my light–but I learned quickly that chasing shadows only leaves you cold as ice, while dripping nothing but darkness. I have found that the truest revenge isn’t found in a battle, but in the silent, steadfast peace of a soul that’s finally come home to nature. Tranquility, I have learned, is the sweetest victory there is… And thus began my Tranquil Revenge.

Ruffles & Saffron are the tiny-but-mighty mascots of our nursery and education center!

Ruffles, our 1/2-inch Biohazard 2 Flytrap, is our summer guardian, snapping up pests during the warm months. When the weather cools and the days get shorter, Ruffles heads into a cozy winter dormancy to rest. That is exactly when Saffron, our world-traveling through the Ages corm, wakes up! Saffron brings the autumn color while Ruffles naps, ensuring there is always a mascot on duty to welcome you.
